These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Novoskin website, including www.novoskinpr.com, our online store, appointment-related features, forms, educational content, and other services made available through the website.
By accessing, browsing, purchasing through, or otherwise using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies applicable to specific services or purchases.
1. ABOUT NOVOSKIN
Novoskin Aesthetic Medicine is a medical and aesthetic practice located in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Our website provides information regarding our practice, medical aesthetic treatments, skincare services and products, educational content, appointments, promotions, events, and other services.
2. WEBSITE INFORMATION IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
Website information is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and does not establish a physician-patient relationship. Treatment recommendations require appropriate clinical evaluation.
3. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
The website, online forms, email, social media, and other digital communication methods are not intended for medical emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate emergency medical assistance or contact appropriate emergency services.
4. APPOINTMENT REQUESTS AND ONLINE BOOKING
Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee an appointment until confirmed. Certain treatments may require consultation, medical history review, clinical evaluation, assessment of contraindications, informed consent, and a deposit or prepayment. Novoskin reserves the right to determine whether a treatment is medically appropriate.
5. CANCELLATIONS AND NO-SHOWS
Unless different terms are disclosed for a specific service, procedure, promotion, or event, Novoskin requires at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a $75 cancellation/no-show fee. Deposits designated as non-refundable or non-transferable are subject to the terms disclosed at booking.
6. MEDICAL AND AESTHETIC RESULTS
Individual results vary. Before-and-after photographs, testimonials, treatment descriptions, videos, reviews, or other examples do not guarantee that another patient will achieve the same or similar results. No particular medical or cosmetic outcome is guaranteed.
7. ONLINE STORE
Novoskin may offer skincare products and other merchandise through its website. Orders are subject to product availability, order acceptance, payment authorization, applicable shipping restrictions, and store policies. Novoskin may limit quantities, reject or cancel orders, or discontinue products when reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
8. PRICING
Prices displayed on the website are in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated. Novoskin makes reasonable efforts to display accurate pricing and product information but may correct typographical, technical, pricing, or description errors as permitted by law.
9. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Products displayed online may become unavailable without notice. Certain items may be offered as pre-orders, with estimated processing or shipping timeframes disclosed during purchase.
10. SHIPPING
Shipping availability, costs, carriers, processing times, and estimated delivery times may vary. Delivery timeframes are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
11. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND STORE CREDIT
Due to the nature of skincare, cosmetic, and personal-use products, certain purchases may be final sale. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated in a specific offer, Novoskin's applicable store policy may provide store credit rather than monetary refunds. Products that have been opened, used, or otherwise made unsuitable for resale may not be eligible for return or exchange, subject to applicable law.
12. PRE-ORDERS
Certain products may be available for pre-order. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, estimated pre-order processing may take approximately 10–14 business days. Estimated timeframes are not guaranteed.
13. PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS, AND WEBSITE OFFERS
Promotions, discounts, and special offers may be subject to eligibility requirements, expiration dates, exclusions, availability, deposit requirements, and additional terms. Unless a different validity period is expressly stated at the time of purchase, promotional offers or treatment offers purchased through the Novoskin website are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Any unused value or service after the applicable six-month validity period will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions and discount codes may not be combined.
14. GIFT CARDS
Novoskin gift cards are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase, except where a different period is required by applicable law. Gift cards may be subject to additional terms disclosed at purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise, gift cards may not be combined with promotional discounts or special offers. Any expiration, unused balance, redemption restriction, or cash-redemption requirement will be administered in accordance with applicable federal and Puerto Rico law.
15. PAYMENT
The website may use third-party payment processors. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. Novoskin does not necessarily receive or store complete payment-card information.
16. PRODUCT INFORMATION
Novoskin makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, ingredients, instructions, images, and other information. Users should review current product labels, instructions, warnings, and ingredient lists before use.
17. PRODUCT REACTIONS AND ALLERGIES
Individual responses to skincare and cosmetic products vary. Users should review ingredients and warnings and discontinue use and seek appropriate medical advice if they experience a concerning reaction.
18. ACCOUNTS AND USER INFORMATION
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for providing accurate information. Notify Novoskin or the applicable platform provider if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
19. PRIVACY AND HIPAA
Personal information collected through the website is handled according to the Novoskin Privacy Policy and applicable law. When information constitutes Protected Health Information (PHI) and HIPAA applies, it is handled according to applicable HIPAA requirements and the Notice of Privacy Practices.
20. SMS AND MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS
If you voluntarily enroll in a Novoskin SMS or mobile messaging program, additional Mobile Terms of Service apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to applicable SMS communications to opt out and HELP for assistance.
21. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
Users may voluntarily subscribe to promotional or informational email communications. Marketing emails may be discontinued using the unsubscribe option in the applicable message.
22. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, Novoskin's original website content, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, educational content, design elements, and marketing materials are owned by Novoskin or used with authorization and may be protected by intellectual property laws.
23. ACCEPTABLE USE
Users may not use the website to violate applicable laws, engage in fraud, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website security, introduce malicious software, unlawfully harvest information, impersonate others, submit intentionally false information, or infringe intellectual property rights.
24. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
